# GPTMail

> Use GPTMail's free temporary email generator to get a disposable inbox instantly, receive verification codes, and keep your real address private. No signup.

Use the GPTMail API to generate temporary inboxes, list and read messages, and delete mail over HTTPS with an X-API-Key header. It suits automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and QA workflows.

- API requests authenticate with an `X-API-Key` header. A free public test key with a shared daily quota is shown on the API page; personal keys have their own quotas.
- Any valid prefix on an active domain receives mail; generating an address first is optional.
- Received mail is deleted automatically after 24 hours. Addresses are temporary: do not use them for accounts you need to keep.
